VISIT OUR WEBSITEThe Neill-Cochran House Museum’s collection consists of over 7,000 artifacts, including our two original 1856 structures, through which we share stories related to the people and institutions that have called our site home, as well as life and the historical context of Austin, TX from the site’s establishment in 1855, to 1930. The Museum’s installed spaces primarily reflect the way the home was used during the occupancies of the Neill and Cochran families from the Victorian period into the 20th century. The majority of the furnishings and decorative objects on view on the second floor belonged to the Cochran family and were in the home during their six decades of residency.
