Scope and Content
A small collection of pictorial family records and documents depicting Edmund Virgil Conway (1884-1948), his wife Dorthea Brandes Conway (1897-1967), and their son Edmund Virgil Conway (1929-2015). The photographs in the collection consist of family portraits, women in the American Women's Voluntary Services and Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America ceremonies, 1938 hurricane damage, and the Conway home in Upper Shepherds Neck. Documents include a program from the Montauk Community Church, a sales contract for their home, populations of East Hampton Town, and Boy Scouts of America correspondence.
