Two plates from the The Corydon M. Johnson Portfolio of Long Island Scenes depicting illustrated scenes and stories from Montauk and Gardiners Island. Plate VII reproduces a tableau of Captai Kidd meeting with John Gardiner, originally painted in tempera by Richard Peterson, with text by Paul Elisha. Plate VII depicts a scratchboard rending of the Montauk Light House by Richard Whitehead, with text by Paul Elisha.
