A collection of 88 photographs from the 1960s and 1970s depicting anglers, events, and aerials of the Montauk Yacht Club and Deep Sea Club in Montauk, New York. Anglers are photographed with their catch on the docks, and the tuna and swordfish are marked with the date caught and weight. Events include flag-raising ceremonies and decathlon award dinners. Four photographs capture a fire at the Deep Sea Club. The collection also includes pictures from the U.S. Atlantic Tuna Tournament in Narragansett, Rhode Island in 1964. Bob Darenberg, the dock master at Deep Sea Club, is also pictured with his wife Judy, and their children.Archive Details
