Scope and Content

A collection of eight photographs and one postcard documenting sport fishermen and their catch in Montauk during the 1950s and 1960s. The black-and-white and color photographs show fishermen at the docks with their trophy catches of swordfish, blue marlin, and striped bass. The postcard advertises a charter fishing business run by Capt. Walter Plumacher.
