The Stuart Vorpahl Jr. Digital Collections consists of nine scans of photographs documenting Vorpahl pulling catch from 40-foot bandit fishing traps along Napeague and Waterfence. Stuart Vorpahl Jr. (1939–2016) was a fisherman, historian, former town trustee, and secretary of the East Hampton Baymen’s Association. Additional photographs include an 810 lb. swordfish, a young Christine Vorpahl cleaning a fish, and Captain Billy Slanec's 28ft Richardson. Four photos taken by Dan Budnik.
