The Vera Holden Real Estate Collection includes advertisements, brochures, and cooperative offering plans for hotels, motels, and condominiums in Montauk, New York. The materials in the collection date from the 1980s when Vera Holden worked as a licensed real estate agent and sales representative to various establishments in Montauk and Amagansett. Places include the Montauk Manor, The Sanctuary at Montauk Point, The Hermitage, Gurney's Inn, Montauk Golf and Racquet Club, Stepping Stones, Beachcomber Resort, Deep Hollow Guest and Cattle Ranch, Montauk Yacht Club, Sunstone Motel, Atlantic Terrace Motel, Ocean Colony and Tennis Club, and Ocean Beach Resort. The collection may be of use to patrons researching real estate prices, condominium architecture, cooperative housing, recreation, land use and development, advertising and graphic design.

Vera Holden (1917-2014) was born in Esterhazy, Canada and moved to New York City to take a job as a model where she met and married her husband Albert R. Holden. They had two sons together and lived in New Jersey and Queens before moving to Montauk, New York. In Montauk, she was very active with the Montauk Community Church and headed the Sunday school program. She was a successful real estate agent for many years. After her husband's death in 2002, she returned to Canada.
