B/W photo of members of the 1972 U.S. Olympic Track Team on Mere Point, at the home of Doug and Nan Morrell. The team was at Bowdoin College to train prior to departing for the Munich Olympics. At far left may be Steve Prefontaine, who was on site that day. Prefontaine, who died in an automobile accident in 1975, held records in seven different distance track events. 7/1972.Lexicon
