Completed by Langlois during her time at Spindleworks, “Skaters” is a prime example of Rita Langlois's bright, whimsical style, displayed on walls in exhibitions from New York City to Europe to her favorite local breakfast and lunch spot, Grand City in Brunswick. This work featuring children skating in the winter, many with ice hockey sticks, was chosen by Maine Governor John McKernan for his annual holiday card while he was in office.
