Notes

Seam in center, 2 halves of one piece. Selvage on long sides (folded seams top and bottom). Light double stripe stains on sides on back. A few small stains and holes on edges. Puckered on sides.

Opened ends of center seam, iron, and re-stitch with backward looping stitch to fix pucker. Pressed entire piece smooth.

Treatment Notes

Used muslin to line, cutting 8” larger on each side. Pinned object to muslin and sewed to lining with tiny whip stitches from center until a few inches from corners. Ironed with tacking iron, distilled water, and silicone release paper for wrinkles.
