This easterly view on Summer Street shows a street lamp just before the entry to the Sharksmouth estate (and a fire hydrant just beyond it, an ancestor of the one that stands there today), as well as a second lamp in the farther distance near what is now Hickory Hill Road. Note the several trees with burlap sashes to discourage gypsy moth caterpillars.
