A man appears to be tidying up Lexington Avenue in front of the Grill Club. Note the signage at the entry, absent in most other depictions. The reddish banner is likely a whim of the colorist.
With the exception of the man in the road, the images in postcards #765 and #899 seem remarkably similar to this one in nearly every regard. The flattened top of the tree in this card might suggest the original cropland of the photo in those version. However, the leaves above the Grill Club sign directly above the man obscure different letters in the two images.Subject Person/Organization
