Description

This view from high on Coolidge Point looking northeast provides a useful sense of the landscape beyond Crescent Beach. The great structure looming on the horizon at left is Oakwood, W. H. Coolidge's great summer mansion. The red-roofed beach house was also part of the estate, and remains standing in 2026. To its right is the North Shore Swimming Pool (now the bath & Tennis Club), and the Oceanside bathing pavilion at the far right.
