Description
A view of the formal Italian style gardens at the Tucker Estate, taken from the "Arch Bridge" includes Whittier Cove and a glimpse of the open sea in the distance. Compare the colorist's art in this version with that of the related alternate version -- the addition of an idealized American flag upon a different cloudscape, a brighter garden in fuller bloom.
See the related alternate version of this card for an illustration of the colorist's role in enhancing photographic images.
