This heavily planted side garden must have been a feature of some popularity in order to earn a postcard. It fills the space to the right of J. S. Reid's Beach St. Cafe (note 'Restaurant' sign at top left. The roof of the train station passenger shelter can just be seen in the background by a telephone pole, helping to place the location of the scene on beach street at the site of today's Crosby's Market.Postcard Details
