Description

The chance positioning of the moving horse cart at lower right almost gives the impression that it's pulling the trolley car in a Currier & Ives Christmas scene, but it appears the cars are at a standstill while a gang of shovelers work to clear the tracks at left. A 'Lanesville' sign can be made out on the front of the trolley car at right - but the exact location of this scene is yet to be determined.
