Road to Depot, Magnolia, Mass.

Name/Title

Road to Depot, Magnolia, Mass.

Entry/Object ID

1128

Description

A horse wagon approaches down a tree-lined road. The location of this intriguing is uncertain and could be any of the roads between Magnolia Square and the Magnolia train station: Manchester's Magnolia Avenue, Summer Street, Raymond Street, or Magnolia's Magnolia Avenue. The featured corridor of trees (willows?) do resemble some other depictions of the latter road, and it appears to be a location with several driveways leading to dwellings (house at left, gate at right). A tree at right is sporting a burlap wrap to protect it from gypsy moth caterpillars.
