De zwanenzang van Sir Jeremy Morse (1928-2016) CEO van de Lloyds Bank in 'the Times' d.d. 19 december 1992. Tweemaal heb ik hem in levende lijve ontmoet. De eerste keer bij mijn komst naar de Lloyds Bank als kantoor directeur van Rotterdam Branch in juli 1981. De tweede keer t.g.v. zijn 'farewell' van Lloyds Bank in Amsterdam in januari 1993, toen het al duidelijk was dat Rotterdam-branch gesloten zou worden.

all-encompassing service.
- There are very few special qualities, but the most important is, that the
bankers deal in other people's money. People expect more from those who
handle their money.
