Thomas Lepeltak (1940-2023) weet het ! Hij speelt in op de ijdelheid van de mens. Ik meen dat hij wel voor de "politicus Hans" bruikbaar was. Ik vraag mij af of de ambassadeur gediend is met de controverse uit het verleden? zouden deze opmerkingen de goede naam bevorderen?

Een verdiende pluim is toch wel dat Ank zo goed Letzeburgesch spreekt op hoogniveau.
"Mein Gott ist ein Letze Burger." Heeft onze Groot Hertog Ank ook nog gecomplimenteerd met haar natuurlijke haarkleur? "À mon avis," kan Ank bijklussen door model te zijn voor het merk 'Schwarzkopf-haarbehandeling.
Nu wat anders. Neef Duncan (nr. 1 zoon van mijn oudste broer) trouwde met een katholiek meisje in de OLV kerk te Breda. Bisschop Bär zegende het huwelijk in. De kerk was tjokvol op zaterdagmiddag. de gedachte op om de éénwording van Duitsland met de éénwording van Europa te vergelijken.
'Time to go to bed. I call it a day.' Vera houdt niet van strijken. Ik hoop nog een uurtje te lezen in mijn boek voor dit moment: "Kapitein Corelli's Mandoline," Reeds de zevende druk.
De tijd heelt alles .Ik hoop ook dat dat ook het geval is met de wandaden in Kosovo. Uiteindelijk is Koning Albert van België nu ook respectabel, ondanks de wandaden verricht door zijn voorvader Leopold II van België.
