De eerste keer bij mijn komst naar de Lloyds Bank als kantoor directeur van Rotterdam Branch in juli 1981. De tweede keer t.g.v. zijn 'Farewell' van de Bank in Amsterdam in januari 1993 toen het al duidelijk was dat Rotterdam-branch gesloten zou worden.
