A Large vintage solid brass cat c1960s in an elegant stretched pose, tail arched high and body elongated in a classic mid century modern style. Beautifully cast with smooth sculptural lines and expressive facial detailing. Heavy and substantial, this piece has a rich polished brass finish with warm golden tones. Similar brass animal figures were popular from the 1960s as decorative statement pieces and doorstops.
