Please make an offer via the ‘Questions’ panel below Thank you for your support of a purely NZ-owned small business This antique carnival glass compote was produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company in the early 20th century and features the Stippled Rays pattern, first introduced around 1907. Made in pressed glass with an iridescent surface treatment, this example displays a rich green base colour with strong multicoloured lustre and radiating rib detail to the bowl. The scalloped rim and pedestal foot are characteristic of Fenton’s early carnival glass production, which was originally marketed as an affordable alternative to cut glass.
