This mid century decorative bowl was produced by Anolux, a New Zealand maker known for anodised metal wares combined with turned wooden bases during the post war period. The bowl features a copper anodised aluminium dish with a warm metallic finish, set into a solid wooden pedestal base. Pieces of this type were designed as functional decorative objects, suitable for fruit, display, or table centre use, and reflect the clean modern lines and material contrasts typical of mid century New Zealand design. Retaining its original Anolux Anodised Products label, this is a genuine period example with strong visual appeal.

C O N D I T I O N:
Very good vintage condition with light surface marks and minor wear consistent with age and careful use. Some light scratches to the anodised surface and minor wear to the wooden base. Original label present with age related wear.
