A pair of pressed art glass bowls from the Italia series designed by Ulrica Hydman Vallien for Åfors Glasbruk, Sweden, dating to the 1950s or 1960s. These sculptural bowls feature a flowing organic form with radiating ribbed pattern and a soft opalescent blue to milky white tone. A striking example of mid century Scandinavian glass design, combining functionality with expressive form. Ideal for collectors of Swedish art glass or as statement decorative pieces.

C O N D I T I O N:
Very good vintage condition overall. Two small nibbles to the base edge of the large bowl. No cracks observed. General light surface wear consistent with age and use.
