A rare vintage Murano glass figural decanter in the form of a seated cat, produced in Italy for Drioli Cherry Brandy and attributed to Archimede Seguso, circa 1970s.
This sculptural piece is crafted in the Sommerso technique, layering emerald green and clear glass to create rich visual depth. The form features stylised facial detailing, curled tail, and expressive ears — all executed with the precision expected of Seguso workshop glass.
The original Drioli red foil label remains partially intact, verifying its use as a cherry brandy decanter. These novelty decanters were popular promotional exports and are now prized by collectors of both vintage Murano glass and liquoriana.
A rare, eye-catching display piece with authentic Murano heritage.
