A vintage mid-century Westclox wind-up alarm clock presented in its original cream Bakelite or cellulose case. This non Ben model features a rounded body with pontoon feet, a brown/green dial with luminous numerals and hands, and a subsidiary alarm setting dial. Westclox produced a variety of these compact Bakelite alarm clocks from the 1940s through the 1950s, designed as practical everyday timepieces with a warm Art Deco to mid-century aesthetic. This example retains its original finish and classic Westclox script on the dial. A charming and increasingly less common model for collectors of early plastics, mechanical clocks or mid-century design.

C O N D I T I O N:
Running well. Runs a little slow over a 24 hour period. Needs a oil or service. Presents in vintage condition with age-related fading to the case, some cosmetic corrosion to the back plate and light wear to the case consistent with age and use. Luminous elements show expected ageing.
