A vintage early twentieth-century Ansonia mantel clock made in the USA and featuring its original enamel dial with classic Arabic numerals and elegant spade hands. The case is cast metal with a bronze toned finish, a form commonly produced by the Ansonia Clock Company from the early 1900s through the 1920s. This model reflects the company’s distinctive Gothic inspired styling with a pointed arch silhouette and shaped base. The movement runs well and keeps good time, retaining its original rear plate, winder and regulator. A characterful and increasingly scarce example of an authentic American-made Ansonia timepiece.

C O N D I T I O N:
Running well and keeps great time. The enamel dial presents cleanly with age consistent wear. The cast metal case shows expected age-related surface wear and patina to the bronze toned finish, particularly toward the back panel. No major damage noted.
