A striking large vintage art glass bowl in vibrant tangerine amber tones, raised on a clear applied foot. This piece showcases the clean, sculptural form associated with mid century modern glass design, with smooth rounded walls and a rich colour gradient that intensifies toward the rim. The colour and form are reminiscent of Scandinavian glasshouses and American makers such as Blenko, both known for bold, free blown decorative glass during the mid to late 20th century. The thick glass and pontil base indicate quality studio production. A beautiful statement piece ideal as a centrepiece or decorative display object.
