A classic mid century mechanical alarm clock made by Westclox in Scotland during the late 1950s to early 1960s. This model features the period correct black dial with cream numerals and matching luminous hands, along with the signature red alarm hand used on Scottish made Westclox clocks. The rounded metal case and stepped footed base reflect the sleek modernist styling of the era.
Westclox Dundee produced a number of these export models for the Commonwealth market, and examples in clean, original condition such as this are becoming increasingly scarce.

C O N D I T I O N:
Working well, though it loses approximately 10-15 minutes over a 24 hour period. Perspex face plate is clear with light age related scratches present around the outer edge that do not affect readability. Clean and tidy overall with gentle wear consistent with age.
