Iconic Azimuth Sunburst fruit bowl designed by GEWAHL for New Zealand firm Green & Associates, dating to the late 1980s to early 1990s. Considered a postmodern design staple, it features sixteen interlocking plastic ribs radiating from a central metal base to form a bold sunburst shape. The alternating black and translucent yellow elements create striking visual contrast & is very uncommon. Both sculptural and functional, it expands to hold fruit while doubling as a statement centrepiece.
