210926E 1970s Labeled 'Gimas, Eukino' Italian Space Age Cream Whipper
Entry/Object ID

Description
SOOOO Cool! Made in Italy by 'Gimas' during the 1970s, the 'Eukino' cream whipper belongs to an era when everyday kitchen equipment embraced bold Space Age styling. And so it should be :)) Italian manufacturers increasingly combined aluminium, chrome and moulded plastics with sculptural forms suited to the modern home.
Today these vintage siphons have appeal beyond their original culinary purpose, representing the playful industrial design and futuristic optimism that characterised European domestic products of the period.
