Description
Made in Sweden by K. A. Lund of Boksjö Guld & Silversmide, whose registered KAL maker's mark was used from 1952 to 1988. This sterling silver bangle reflects the Scandinavian jewellery tradition of combining restrained form with detailed hand decoration. Its scrolling foliate engraving contrasts beautifully with the polished reverse, while the hinged construction and safety chain were practical features commonly used in quality mid twentieth century jewellery. A particularly attractive piece of Swedish silver design.

C O N D I T I O N:
Good period condition with light surface scratching, tarnish and age appropriate wear. Engraved decoration remains crisp and well defined. Hinge, clasp and safety chain are present. Interior is marked KAL and STER SIL for sterling silver.
