A vibrant 1950s Japanese Mid Century Modern art glass bowl in rich tangerine, featuring controlled bullicante bubbles suspended throughout the thick cased glass. The sculptural ruffled rim and glowing amber orange tone reflect post war studio glass design. Comparable labelled examples were imported under the Norlean label, with production attributed to Iwatsu Glass Co. or Sanyu Glass Co. of Osaka. A bold and collectable example of Japanese art glass from the mid century era.
