A beautiful 1950s Murano art glass bowl in rich amethyst, featuring the classic sommerso technique with layers of coloured glass encased in clear crystal. Scattered silver foil inclusions create a shimmering, textured effect that catches the light beautifully. The softly lobed organic form and weight are characteristic of mid century Venetian studio glass.
