Hey movie lovers! Step back in time to the golden era of the atomic space age and add a talking point and touch of style to your home/office or woman/man cave!
A rare vintage 16mm Pathescope Gem projector manufactured in England by Pathescope Ltd during the late 1940s to 1950s. Designed as a compact home-cinema projector, the Gem was produced in several small-gauge formats, this model says on the plate 16mm. Its die-cast metal casing, curved silhouette and streamlined mid-century styling reflect the post-war push for modern domestic technology. Introduced in 1948 after pre-war development was delayed, the Gem became a popular silent projector for home movie viewing and is now sought after as a decorative historical piece. This example showcases the iconic “atomic-age” design that characterised Pathescope’s post-war products and remains an appealing collectible for film enthusiasts and vintage décor settings.
