A mid century Bauer Pantalux 8 projector manufactured in Stuttgart Untertürkheim, Germany by Eugen Bauer G.m.b.H during the early to mid 1950s. Built for Standard 8 mm silent film, the Pantalux series was known for its precision German engineering, heavy cast metal construction and hammered enamel finish. This example features the classic textured green housing, side mounted reel arm and the distinctive Bauer control layout that defined their post war projectors. With its sculptural industrial form, exposed film path and robust build quality, it makes an exceptional vintage display piece and is ideal for décor, film themed interiors or collectors of historical technology.
