A sculptural vintage red art glass dish, attributed to Murano, Italy, mid-20th century. The rich red body is encased in clear crystal using the Sommerso technique, with pulled and curled lobes forming a fluid, organic shape.
The bold colour and expressive form are consistent with Venetian glass studios active during the 1950s–70s. While unmarked, the quality of the glass, weight, and craftsmanship align with Murano production of the period. Ideal as a decorative bowl, ashtray, or collector’s display piece.
