A beautiful vintage 'Coverley' table lamp, proudly made in New Zealand, dating to the mid-20th century. This piece features a tall fabric lampshade paired with a decorative column base, classic styling from NZ homes of the 1950s–60s. The base appears to be crafted from ornamental cast metal with brass-toned detailing, and the central column may be onyx, faux-onyx, or early resin/celluloid. The lamp appears to have been rewired at some point in its life and is in working order.
