A striking vintage Strand Electric theatre spotlight mounted on its original cast iron tripod base. Manufactured in the United Kingdom for stage and studio use, this mid twentieth century spotlight has been converted at some point in its past to take a standard household bulb, allowing it to function as a dramatic industrial loft lamp. The original lens remains intact and the lamp presents with beautiful authentic patina. A genuine piece of theatre history and a functional design object in its own right. It can adjust up to 2 metres in height.
