Entry/Object ID

Description
A handsome pair of vintage Hecworth silver-plated candle holders with raised scrolling acanthus-style decoration and a polished silver finish. The bases are marked Hecworth Reproduction Old Sheffield, a mid-20th century silver plate line associated with Australian tableware maker Platers Pty Ltd and later Rodd. These pieces reproduce the look of earlier Old Sheffield Plate, giving them a classic Georgian-inspired style without the cost of sterling silver. Their low, broad form makes them attractive for dining table settings, mantel display, wedding styling, or traditional home décor.
