The central design includes Britannia, flanked by laurel wreaths and Union Jack banners, with the inscription "For Freedom and Honour – Peace 1919." The rim is embossed with a decorative border, and "porridge" is written in a Gothic-style font.
The reverse bears the inscription "A Souvenir of the Great War", with key dates:
War commenced: August 4th, 1914
Armistice signed: November 11th, 1918
Peace Treaty signed: June 28th, 1919
