A finely crafted beautiful Norwegian sterling silver Viking ship salt cellar set by Magnus Aase, including a matching Viking horn salt cellar and a spoon by Brodene Lohne. Each piece is marked 830S and bears the maker's marks. Comes presented in a Tostrup box.
Magnus Aase was a renowned Norwegian silversmith based in Bergen (1876–1953). Established in 1899, his workshop became one of Norway’s most recognised silversmiths. The Lohne Brothers, who crafted the included spoon, trained under Theodor Olsen Silversmiths before establishing their own workshop in 1921.
