A vintage Murano glass vase featuring the Scavo technique, which gives the glass a weathered, ancient appearance. The vase retains its original labels (one partially intact), authenticating it as a genuine Murano creation from Italy.
The Scavo technique, developed in Murano, is achieved by applying a chemical mixture to the surface of the glass before firing, creating an effect reminiscent of unearthed archaeological glass.
