Original 1926 yard long lithographic print titled Lovers at Masquerade by Gene Pressler, a prominent American illustrator known for his romantic and glamorous imagery during the early 20th century. This enchanting piece showcases a couple in masquerade costume, beautifully rendered in rich, moody colours and a composition typical of the Pompeian Beauty series—highly popular for parlours and boudoirs in the 1920s and 30s.
This print is signed in-plate by the artist at lower left and is presented in its original gold-tone frame with matboard.

This is in a glazed frame & the buyer must assume the risk in transport.
C O N D I T I O N :
Vintage condition with general signs of age. The print shows excellent colour retention with some surface speckling consistent with its age. The frame is original and shows expected wear, including edge wear and aging of the back panel. The backing appears to be untouched, and the hanging wire is in place.
