A first edition copy of You Only Live Twice by Ian Fleming, published in 1964 by Jonathan Cape Ltd. This volume features black cloth boards embossed with Japanese kanji in gilt on the upper cover and spine. Part of the original James Bond series, the novel continues the Bond saga in post-war Japan, showcasing Fleming’s late-career stylistic development. Missing original dust jacket. The opening epigraph, adapted from Japanese poet Basho, adds further literary depth.
