Authentic vintage Bitossi pottery vase, designed by Aldo Londi in the 1960s–70s. This piece features the Spagnolo pattern, one of the hand-decorated surface designs created as part of Londi’s celebrated artistic direction for Bitossi Ceramiche, Italy.
The vase showcases a rich, textured glaze in the brand’s iconic Rimini Blu palette, with impressed geometric and floral motifs highlighted in vibrant turquoise and cobalt tones. The deep, saturated colours and highly tactile surface are hallmarks of Bitossi’s mid-century production.
Like many Bitossi works of the period, this piece is unsigned, but is entirely consistent in form, technique, and finish with verified examples from the Spagnolo series. The base is concave, as it should be on all authentic Bitossi pieces from this era (note: many Bitossi listings online are inauthentic reproductions).

C O N D I T I O N :
Very good vintage condition with strong colour and no cracks. There is one small glaze rub/loss to the rim (shown clearly in close-up photos), and general light wear consistent with age. Base and interior show typical crazing and surface texture.
