A striking 1970s New Zealand-made dining suite by Namco (National Art Metal Company Ltd). This rare set comprises four swivel dining chairs with flared moulded plastic backs, original rust-orange upholstery, and chrome pedestal star bases. The matching circular dining table features a simulated wood laminate top with a chrome trim and central pedestal base. Well-built, stylish, and iconic of local mid-century production. Manufacturer’s label remains affixed beneath the chair base.
Namco was a leading commercial furniture maker in New Zealand during the 1960s–70s, known for supplying durable, modernist furnishings to government departments and institutions.

Very good vintage condition overall. Some patina and scuffs to plastic surfaces. All chairs swivel smoothly and are structurally sound. They look to have had welding repairs done historically, and all are very stable. Please refer to images.
