Finely cast and richly detailed heavy brass casket box, featuring high-relief Gothic-style arches and religious or medieval courtly scenes on all visible surfaces. The interior is lined with cedar (or similar caphar wood), suggesting possible use as a cigar humidor or keepsake box. The box has a working hinged lid and ornate faux lockplate. Exceptional quality with deep aged patina.

C O N D I T I O N:
Very good vintage condition. Heavy wear to high points consistent with age. Aged patina throughout, with natural oxidation and some greenish verdigris in recesses. Lid opens freely and interior wood shows wear consistent with storage use.
