Large vintage studio art glass bowl exhibiting hallmark Monart (Scotland) style glassmaking techniques. The piece features rich two tone colouring, flowing internal swirls, scattered gold flecks, and naturally occurring air bubbles formed during the art glass making process. Although unsigned, these characteristics are strongly associated with Monart glass produced in Scotland during the mid 20th century. This large scale, and softly rounded form create an impressive decorative centrepiece. A paper label to the base appears to be an auction or inventory number rather than a maker’s mark.

No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Natural inclusions and variations within the glass are present from the making process.
