Above this attached pocket is embroidered in cursive script the name "Marie". On the blouse's reverse side is embroidered the caption, "Skippy Peanut Butter, Alameda" in white and red colored silk thread. The left half-sleeve has an embroidered patch reading, "League Champion, 1960-61.” Size: L-25” History of Object: A bowling blouse worn by Ella Marie Summers who was born in Ada, OK, Oct. 6, 1923 and moved to Alameda in September 1924; she passed away on Aug. 30, 2008 in Olalla, WA. Ellar was a member of their championship bowling teams of 1960 and 1961. Skippy Peanut Butter was a product of the Rosefield Packing Company. This popular name was licensed as the coporate name in 1932.
